Storage Tips

The best ways to store (and not to store) our breads:

DO
- store bread in a paper bag, in a bread box or in a cold oven.
- leave bread on the counter, cut side down.
- store bread in the freezer -- just be sure to wrap it tight. (defrosting instructions.)
DON'T
- store bread in a plastic bag.
- store bread in a refrigerator.

(both will make the crust and bread soggy!)

Defrosting (and refreshing) Instructions

Heat your oven to 325°F
Place the bread on a rack placed in the middle of the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the crust is crisp and the center is nicely warmed.

A bit stale?
There are many, many things that can be made from slightly stale or "day old bread". Go ahead and buy a bit more than you think you'll need. And if you have leftovers, we have some recipes to get you started.
