Our durum white bread is made using red beard durum wheat grown by us and milled in-house. Durum (Latin for “hard”) wheat is known for its high protein content and unique nutty flavor, and the resulting bread is a tight, tender, cake-like crumb with a chewy exterior and a slightly sweet flavor. Delicious and versatile, it pairs well with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and other savory ingredients. It can be enjoyed on its own or used as a base for sandwiches and toast.
